THE LAURELS AT INCHBROOK
A rambling part-Georgian house and traditional Cotswold stone cottage in a courtyard setting with a secluded garden.
Richard Williams-Allen transformed a lovely, but temporarily unloved, building into the established business it is today. His wife and daughter, Lesley and Emily, continue offering accommodation, with a few tweaks here and there.

Inchbrook is a small hamlet lying between Woodchester and Nailsworth - 1 mile north of Nailsworth, 3 miles south of Stroud. The Laurels sits at the foot of Cow Lane. The Laurels At Inchbrook is surrounded by trees and fields at the rear and bordered by the Inch Brook, which passes the garden from the Woodchester Park Lakes.
We are ideally placed to offer overnight accommodation for both business and leisure guests, with private parking and easy access on to the A46. Sadly, we cannot allow children or pets.
The Laurels has been run successfully for over 30 years by the same family.
We offer 5 rooms in total - three double, (one with additional sofabed) and a two-roomed suite with bathroom suitable for 2-4 people.
Prices: From £65 - £80 double, £35 - £50 single, per night. Due to Covid 19, we are now only offer a minimum of two nights' booking, because of the additional cleaning and sanitization requirements. We welcome business guests who wish to rent on a longer-term basis, (rates available on request).
Secure on site parking is available at the rear of the property. We offer a valet parking service to make this easier for our guests. Arrangements can be made for under-cover parking for motorbikes and cycles.
We now concentrate on room-only bookings, but offer our fully equipped shared kitchen and dining room.
Guests are welcome to bring in their own food and use the facilities available in our dining room. We can also arrange for delivery of takeaway meals.
We are particularly pleased to welcome longer-staying guests (eg those relocating or on contract) for whom we offer special rates.

We have free Wifi. Givern the age of the house and the thickness of the stone walls, we cannot guarantee perfect reception in all our rooms. However, reception is always available somewhere on the property.
There are many excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants locally. We are happy to recommend where to eat out, and can arrange to reserve a table for you.

"Thank you so much for putting us up. Your hospitality was a real hightlight of our trip. We haven't had a better breakfast." - Ben & Tom Land's End to John O'Groats
An important part of Emily’s life is her Wolfdogs. These stunning creatures are not well-known in this country, and are often mistaken for Husky or German shepherd cross.
One of our dogs, Taala, is a female Orkwolf – bred in Scotland from a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog (recognised in Europe since 1982) and a Sarloos (recognised in 1975), resulting in a wonderful mix of looks, character and temperament. Hunter, our handsome male, came to us later in life but embraces being a part of our pack, and adores Taala, and she him.
If you would like an opportunity to meet our Wolfdogs, this can be arranged. We can even arrange for wolfdog walks in the woods.
